Congratulations to Shay Addison for becoming the Jr. Bulldogs first State Champ- he placed first at the USA Wrestling-NJ Kids State Championships at Bantam 65 Lbs 

The Rumson-Fair Haven wrestling community  had it's best year in a very long time in 2012-13.  All of the hard work by the athletes and the coaches is paying dividends.  This year we exceeded all of our team goals and we had some incredible individual accomplishments.  Our Jersey Shore team finished the season undefeated at 6-0 in the B-Liberty Division, winning a Division Championship for the first time since the 1998-99 season.  Overall, the team posted a 9-5 record.  On an individual basis, we had 8 wrestlers place in the Jersey Shore Junior Wrestling League B Division Individual Tournament.  Even more impressive is the fact that we had 4 Finalists and 3 Champs at the B Division Tournament.  We also had three wrestlers (Shay Addison, Nick Addison and Jamie Laughinghouse) qualify for the USA Wrestling-NJ Kids State Championship with one of those wrestlers (Shay Addison) becoming the Jr. Bulldogs first State Champ.  At the High School level, Cole Bisaccia, a former Jr. Bulldog became our first District Champ since 2003.  Both Cole and Marcus Iwama (another former Jr. Bulldog) qualified for the Region VI tournament with Marcus placing 3rd in Region VI to qualify for the High School State Championship in Atlantic City.  Both Cole and Marcus are Sophomores and will return for the Bulldogs next year.  So the future is bright for Rumson-Fair Haven Wrestling.  Do you have what it takes?  Come help us create the tradition!
